"I recently finished the injection therapy program for my knees. I am a registered nurse myself so I can be very critical and particular concerning the practice of medicine. The care and professionalism I experienced at Sound Integrated was that standard. Particularly, Jakki and NP Kaitlin were very knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable and confident in my care throughout the entire program. " -Cathy

Watch a testimonial from a patient who improved after using GenVisc injections

"My mom was almost wheelchair bound. She needs a double knee replacement, but cannot due to other health problems. After just one injection in each knee my mom started to have more mobility and less pain. She just had her fifth and final injection. Between the injections, physical therapy, and knee braces my mom can now walk unassisted. All the staff were so genuine and caring. They made my mom feel like family. There were zero follow up issues." -Dani

About Our Treatment

Your knees bear the brunt of your body with every step you take and over time, that physical stress can lead to painful injuries and degenerative conditions. Our program will help you avoid surgery and daily medications by treating the problem at the source.

Before you start, you will have a free consultation with one of our providers who will discuss the different types of treatments and financing. You will also have a patient core coordinator to help you along the way with insurance, financing, and scheduling treatments.

"I would highly recommend Sound Integrated to anyone having knee issues. The staff is incredible. You are made to feel as though you are the only one being treated. They go above and beyond what is expected. "

How many injections do I need?

There are many different ways that we can treat your pain, and we tailor these to your specific diagnosis which is why we do X-rays and a physical exam before choosing.

Using a hyaluronic acid treatment can take three or five weeks depending on the product. We also do PRP which is a single injection treatment.

Will my insurance cover it?

We are in network most insurances and our staff is great at coordinating a financing plan between you and your insurance.

How long will it take?

This depends on the type of injection you receive. We offer different products and treatment types, and the providers choose which one works best for you. It is either one, three or five injections, and you receive one per week.

You will come in for a consultation first, then get a physical exam and X-rays. Most insurances get back to us within two-four weeks before you are able to schedule your first treatment!

What do I need to bring to my consultation?

If you have any prior imaging or medical records related to your joint pain, this will help our providers guide your treatment plan. You also need your insurance card and a photo ID.

Does it hurt?

Most patients find that the discomfort from the injection is very minimal and they are able to resume their normal activities right away. Our providers are very experienced in doing these injections.

(We promise it hurts less than surgery!)

How do I know if I am a candidate?

The main reason you would not be a candidate for our program is if you had already had surgery on the knee that is painful.

Otherwise, anyone with chronic knee pain should come in for a free consultation to learn more and see if our program is right for you!
